THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (November 01, 2008). Green Source Energy LLC (“GSE”) announced today the opening of its Manhattan, Kansas lab. The Company stated that the lab facility will be the primary location for its research and development efforts.
“We are happy to be able to build on our history with northeast Kansas to further develop our breakthrough technologies,” said Chief Executive Officer, Fitz Lee. “Our company is based on science and innovative ideas. We believe Manhattan is the right place for our primary R&D both for cost reasons and access to a pool of talent in chemical engineering and other hard sciences,” he continued.
Shahram Shafie, Vice President of Research and Development, said, “Our technology was conceived in Kansas, and we recognize the potential benefits for our R&D efforts as the company grows by drawing on the human capital available in this area. We are excited to use this platform for commercializing a technology we believe will be a game-changer for the use of hydrocarbons.”
